Hello, I’m Tori

My name is Victoria, but almost everyone calls me Tori — and I love what I do. I’ve been an occupational therapist since 2019, working with children and young people across a huge range of ages, abilities and everyday challenges.

I completed my Master of Occupational Therapy at Monash University in Melbourne, then spent several years working in regional South Australia before making the move to London in 2022. Practising across such different communities has shaped the way I work today — flexible, curious and always centred on the individual child in front of me.

My experience has been wonderfully varied, giving me a broad understanding of a range of neurodevelopmental, neurological and genetic conditions. I have a particular interest in — and extensive knowledge of — autism (ASD), developmental delays and ADHD. I’ve also supported many children with cerebral palsy (including upper limb presentations), movement disorders, and other neurological and genetic conditions.

Additional training

Alongside my clinical work, I’ve undertaken specialist training in:

  • Sensory integration
  • Emotional regulation techniques and practices
  • Upper limb bi-manual therapy
  • Toilet training
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • British Sign Language (BSL)

This training, together with years of hands-on experience, means I can offer individualised, person-centred support that recognises each child’s unique communication, sensory, developmental, physical and functional needs.

I’m registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), hold an enhanced DBS certificate, and am fully insured to practise in the UK.

HOW I WORK

Engagement

I believe the best therapy rarely looks like therapy. Children learn and grow best when they're engaged, motivated and having fun — so I build every session around play, curiosity and each child's own interests.

Discovery

Progress isn't something I do to a child; it's something we discover together.

Partnership

I also work in close partnership with the people who know each child best — families, nurseries and schools — because that's where lasting change really takes root.

Practical

My goal is always the same: to help children feel confident, capable and understood, and to give the adults around them the practical tools and confidence to keep that momentum going long after a session ends.
